Over the past year, Aircraft Hardware West has been focusing more of its business in the direction of being a key supplier for the airline interior market. So, on September 14th – 16th, when the Aircraft Interiors Expo 2010 came to Aircraft Hardware West’s hometown of Long Beach, CA, AHW seized this backyard setting to participate as one of over 300 exhibitors. Held at the Long Beach Convention Center, this popular event offered AHW a significant opportunity to present itself to a concentrated gathering of innermost people working in this niche market. AHW CEO/President Frank Ioffrida and his professional staff engaged in a steady flow of conversation for three full days of the Expo making this a hugely successful showing for the company.

One reason for AHW’s success at the show came from months of detailed planning by AHW’s Sales and Marketing Director, Krista Ioffrida. With the help of Sales/Marketing Associate Mark Piatelli, Krista worked closely with the highly respected design and marketing firm, Vertis Communications, to create an effectively eye-catching booth for optimal visibility. “We felt confident that Vertis could help us reach our goal; that is to heighten our visibility in what is becoming a principal market for our growing business.”

“Our investment of time and resources paid off.” says Frank Ioffrida, “We are very pleased with how the show turned out.” With new relationships forged, long-time partners reengaged, and an effectively designed booth, AHW is looking to participate in both Aircraft Interior Expo 2011 shows. The first is slated for April 5th – 7th in Hamburg, Germany. “We’ll have to get on a plane this time, but after the great experience here in Long Beach, we know the trip to Hamburg (and then Seattle) will be well worth the jet lag.” Then AHW plans to attend Aircraft Interiors Expo Americas 2011 in Seattle, WA on September 14th -16th.
